Mr. Khanna previously served as Director of Acquisitions for Ascend Real Estate Partners.  Previously, Mr. Khanna served as an Investment Professional primarily responsible for real estate and real estate operating company strategies at BlueMountain Capital Management.  Prior to joining BlueMountain in 2015, Mr. Khanna was an Investment Professional at VanBarton Group (fka Emmes Asset Management) where he was responsible for the origination and acquisition of high-yield real estate debt and opportunistic equity investments within Gateway Markets in the United States. 

Prior to joining VanBarton Group, Mr. Khanna was an Associate at Morgan Stanley Real Estate responsible for both investment banking and real estate private equity activities including acquisitions, advisory, research, strategy and capital raising. Mr. Khanna began his career at Prudential Real Estate Investors. 

Mr. Khanna received a B.S. in Finance from Rutgers University.
